Hills Energy Management Solutions is a small family run business established in 2014.  We are based in Solihull in the West Midlands and work throughout the UK.  Our key staff have over 20 years of experience in designing, installing and maintaining Building Energy Management Systems. 

We've worked in various industry sectors and on many different applications.  We know that things change, and we are constantly striving to keep up to date with the latest industry technologies.  We are committed to accreditation, training and certification for our engineers; their knowledge is our biggest asset.  

We have established relationships with various multinational manufacturers who produce freely programmable logic controlers and devices.  We use their products and platforms to design and maintain Building Energy Management Systems, making all types of commercial buildings more efficient and easier to manage.

We carry out installations and enhancements of new and old, small to medium sized Building Energy Management Systems.  We offer full consultation to ensure our clients expectations are effectivley managed.  

Our Project Services are always designed, overseen and validated internally by our own experienced engineers.  Over years working in the industry we have built up a nationwide network of vetted specialist contractors whom we often call upon to help us to deliver our installations.

Our strategic partnerships with system manufacturers allow us to procure the most cutting edge BEMS technologies at the most competitive prices.  This puts us at an advantage over our rivals who are often tied into restrictive sales driven partnerships with system manufacturers.  We are free to source our clients a best fit for application and budget suitable solution.

 

 

Support Services

Since our formation we have held system support contracts with Facilities Management companies in the UK.  In addition we have retained support contracts with many end-user clients ranging from small independant business's occupying a single building, up to large multi-national blue chip organisations occupying multiple buildings around the country.  

We offer flexible system condition orientated contracts ranging from reactive on demand troubleshooting, up to a fully comprehensive planned preventative maintenance contract.

We have expertise which reaches across a number of sectors and applications, as well as knowledge of older legacy technologies.  This means we can still support and maintain many older or obsolete BEMS.

Operations & Planning Manager

We had a Seachange BMS installed in our Distribution Center around 12 years ago.  The BMS was not maintained effectivley by our previous service provider, leaving many areas of the system running constantly.  HEMS were instantly able to resolve the 24 hour running issues for us and reccomended a system upgrade as our system was obsolete.  They retrofitted in an EasyIO controller and touchscreen interface.  Since the system has been back under control, we have seen a huge drop in energy consumption, and much better levels of comfort for our staff working on site.  

Primary School Business Manager

We were looking for a company to help us with our Trend Building Management System.  Since installation our school was experiencing a lot of heating issues.  HEMS carried out a re-comissioning project and Optimized our software control strategy.  They also provided us with a remote aftercare support package so that any issues could be quickly resolved in the future.  We've seen a significant drop in our energy bills and estimate their service will pay for itself within 18 months.
